Workshops for Beginning and Experienced Monitors

Our virtual workshops are for both beginning & experienced monitors. We’ll teach and review the calls of our 13 frog and toad species, help monitors find survey sites, and discuss the monitoring protocol. Experienced monitors are encouraged to attend, in order to learn any protocol changes, obtain data sheets, review frog calls, and share lessons learned from last year.
You are only required to attend one virtual  monitor training workshop to learn the protocol and frog calls, but this year, we may hold an additional training session to review the new database and field questions from monitors.

Please note, we will not assign and confirm new routes unless monitors have first completed a training workshop. Available routes are assigned first come, first serve.

The registration links for the frog monitor training  Zoom workshops are posted below. Please complete the registration for the session you would like to attend, and you should receive a confirmation email from Zoom. Please be sure to check your spam folder/junk email folder for the confirmation email from Zoom with the link to attend the session, in case you don’t see the email.
